Client-Side Vulnerability

Definition

A client-side vulnerability refers to a weakness in the software running on a user’s device that can be exploited by an attacker. In the context of digital assets, this could involve flaws in web browsers, cryptocurrency wallets, or decentralized application interfaces. Such vulnerabilities permit attackers to gain unauthorized access to private keys, manipulate transaction details, or steal funds directly from a user’s local environment. These security gaps differ from server-side or protocol-level weaknesses, focusing on the end-user’s interaction point.
