DeFi Revenue

Definition

DeFi revenue represents the income generated by decentralized finance protocols and the participants within them. This income can originate from various sources, including trading fees on decentralized exchanges, interest earned from lending protocols, liquidation penalties, and governance token staking rewards. For protocol operators, revenue often comes from transaction fees or a portion of the interest generated by their services. For users, it signifies the financial returns from providing liquidity, lending assets, or participating in yield farming strategies.
