Digital Wealth

Definition

Digital wealth refers to an individual’s or entity’s total holdings of assets that exist solely in digital form, particularly within the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystems. This includes cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens, tokenized securities, and other digital assets. It represents a new category of economic value separate from traditional fiat currency or physical possessions. The administration and protection of digital wealth present distinct challenges and opportunities.
