Enterprise Value

Definition

Enterprise Value represents the total value of a company, including its market capitalization, debt, and minority interest, minus cash and cash equivalents. In the digital asset space, assessing the enterprise value of blockchain companies or protocols requires considering their tokenomics, network utility, and development activity. This metric provides a comprehensive measure of a business’s worth, independent of its capital structure. It offers a more complete picture than market capitalization alone.
