Extended Reality

Definition

Extended Reality, or XR, is an umbrella term for virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies. This concept encompasses all real-and-virtual combined environments and human-machine interactions generated by computer technology and wearables. XR systems provide varying degrees of immersion, from overlaying digital information onto the real world to creating fully simulated digital spaces. These technologies are poised to reshape how individuals interact with digital content and each other.
