L2 MEV Mitigation

Definition

L2 MEV Mitigation refers to strategies and technical solutions designed to reduce or eliminate the negative effects of Miner Extractable Value (MEV) on Layer 2 blockchain solutions. MEV arises from the ability of block producers to reorder, censor, or insert transactions within a block to gain profit, often at the expense of users. Mitigation efforts seek to ensure fair transaction ordering, minimize arbitrage opportunities, and protect users from front-running or sandwich attacks. This aims to preserve the integrity and efficiency of Layer 2 operations.
