MEV Protection

Definition

MEV protection refers to strategies and mechanisms designed to safeguard users from value extraction by block producers. Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) represents the profit that block producers can obtain by manipulating the order or inclusion of transactions within a block. MEV protection mechanisms aim to minimize or redistribute this value, preventing practices such as front-running, sandwich attacks, and arbitrary transaction reordering. These solutions seek to ensure fairer transaction execution and maintain network integrity for all participants.
