Multi-Signature Vulnerability

Definition

A multi-signature vulnerability refers to a security flaw within a smart contract or system designed to require multiple private keys for transaction authorization. This flaw allows an attacker to bypass the intended multi-signature requirement, gaining unauthorized control over funds or operations. Such vulnerabilities often stem from incorrect implementation of cryptographic checks, faulty access control logic, or improper handling of key management. Exploiting these weaknesses can lead to the compromise of substantial digital asset holdings.
