Non-Cash Assets

Definition

Non-cash assets are any assets not readily convertible into physical currency or its direct equivalent, such as fiat money or stablecoins. In the digital asset space, this category typically includes cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as non-fungible tokens, tokenized securities, or other illiquid digital instruments. These assets possess value but require a market transaction to convert them into a universally accepted medium of exchange. Their valuation can be subject to market volatility.
