On-Chain Social Media

Definition

On-chain social media platforms store user content and interactions directly on a blockchain. These platforms differ from traditional social media by decentralizing the storage of posts, comments, and social connections, making them resistant to censorship and single-point failures. Users maintain greater control over their data and identity, as content is immutable and accessible across various interfaces built on the same underlying data layer. This architecture aims to return ownership of social graphs and content to the users.
