SSR Indicator

Definition

The SSR Indicator, or Stablecoin Supply Ratio Indicator, is an on-chain metric that assesses the purchasing power of stablecoins relative to the total market capitalization of Bitcoin. It is calculated by dividing Bitcoin’s market capitalization by the aggregated market capitalization of major stablecoins. A low SSR value suggests that stablecoins hold significant purchasing power, indicating potential for upward price movement in Bitcoin. Conversely, a high SSR implies less stablecoin buying power.
