Staking Inflows

Definition

Staking inflows refer to the net amount of cryptocurrency that is deposited into staking protocols or smart contracts. This metric indicates the growing participation of network validators and token holders in securing a blockchain network through proof-of-stake consensus mechanisms. An increase in staking inflows generally suggests growing confidence in the network’s long-term viability and the attractiveness of staking rewards. Conversely, outflows can signal a decrease in confidence or a search for higher yields elsewhere.
