Supply Removal Trend

Definition

A supply removal trend indicates a sustained decrease in the available circulating supply of a digital asset over time. This reduction can result from various mechanisms, such as token burns, staking programs, or assets being locked in decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. A diminishing supply, assuming constant or increasing demand, can exert upward pressure on an asset’s price. This trend is often viewed as a positive fundamental indicator.
