Trustless Interaction

Definition

Trustless interaction describes a system where participants do not require a central authority for transaction validity or security. This operational model allows parties to transact or collaborate without needing to rely on an intermediary or a trusted third party. Instead, the security and integrity of interactions are guaranteed by cryptographic proofs and decentralized consensus mechanisms. Blockchain technology is fundamentally designed to enable such interactions, reducing counterparty risk.
