Web Interface Compromise

Definition

A web interface compromise occurs when the graphical user interface of a website or application is maliciously altered or exploited. Attackers might inject malicious code, redirect users to fraudulent sites, or display incorrect information to deceive visitors. In the digital asset space, this can lead to users inadvertently approving malicious transactions, revealing sensitive information, or sending funds to attacker-controlled addresses. Such compromises directly undermine user trust and security.
