Weekly Flow

Definition

Weekly flow refers to the net movement of capital into or out of investment products over a seven-day period. This metric quantifies the aggregate net change in capital within specific investment products, including cryptocurrency funds or exchange-traded funds, measured across a single week. It calculates the difference between total capital entering and total capital exiting during that seven-day interval. Weekly flow serves as a key indicator of short-term investor sentiment and market activity, reflecting the amount of new money entering or leaving a particular asset class.
